Mary Mosgrove widow of James Mosgrove died at her home in Nanton Alberta on October 15 1910. Funeral from N A Miler undertakers in Walla Walla at 2 p m interment in Athena cemetery. She had suffered years from cancer. Her husband was killed near Nanton last July and brought here for burial. Daughter Mrs Felix Moran ill at Nanton could not attend. Son-in-law Mr James Henderson traveled from Nanton for the remains. The daughter and family stayed in Alberta during the final months. Mrs Mosgrove was born in Pennsylvania. She leaves one child Mrs Moran. The funeral occurred in Alberta prior to the departure.

Moses Woodward died at his Walla Walla home after a lengthy life that began in Ohio. The funeral at Central Christian Church was led by Rev. John Fisher Dies in North Battleford Typhoid Fever
Sympathy is extended as John Fisher dies at his North Battleford home after a Typhoid fever illness. Born in Indiana in 1858, he resided in Athena and Weston and worked eight years as an oar inspector on the Canadian flour mill road in Edmonton Alberta. Survived by a wife and two daughters Mrs Isham Davis of Walla Walla and Mrs Harry Cameron of North Battleford.
