Helix Store Burned In Fire Bug Suspected In Helix
A fire yesterday morning destroyed the Athena Mercantile Co store in Helix, the town’s largest business. Loss estimated at 13000 dollars with 3000 insurance. Fire started in rear, three masked men tried back door entry earlier. Fire department contained flames but nothing saved. Nearby incidents include Arlington hotel fire and a near-miss residence blaze amid a series of suspected arson and break in attempts.
