Lum Pambrun Dies at 80 in Oregon County
Lum Pambrun, longtime farmer and Pens resident, died at his Gibbon Oregon home on Tuesday at age 80. Funeral services were held at the Samuel Pambrun home near Athena with a large turnout. He was born in Saskatchewan on September 6 1868 and came to the United States with his parents in 1852. He married Felicite Duffy in 1870 and joined the Episcopal church early in life. He leaves Felicite, two daughters Hattie Williams and Katie Sears of Gibbon, two brothers Sam and George Pambrun of Athena, and sister Mary Taylor of La Grande.
