Athena residents receive a harvest of small items from church events to visits across Walla Walla and Dayton. Notes tell of Ed Montague and others hosting, family trips to Portland andSeaside, and multiple visits by H. E Dow to Edmonton Alberta. A church service program and K of P open house mark community life.
Mrs. Sarah Rasmussen of Pendleton hosted a family reunion on Saturday May 24. Fred Pinkerton and son Dean from Athena visited Pendleton Sunday. C C Green of the Springs fish hatchery and Pendleton visitors came Friday. James Cresswell of Athena Standard Oil delivered gasoline for the county road crew aiding roads between the Springs and Gibbon. Marion Hansell of Athena caught a 28 inch steelhead and fine trout in the Umatilla River Thursday. The Batchelor Boys of Pendleton and companions visited Sunday. Dr F L Ingram and family from Pendleton spent the weekend at their summer home here. H H Eickhol?, Mr Schummel, Glen Dudley and Marion Hansell visited Wednesday and Thursday.

Norris executrix of the will and testament of Charles Norris deceased requests creditors to present claims to her or to Watts & Prestleye attorneys in Athena Oregon within six months from the first publication date. Claims must be verified as required by law. The notice is dated December 30 1930.
