Hard fought doubleheader ends in narrow Athena win

Marvelous Runaway Escape In Athena Ends Safely

Louie LaBrache drove a single horse buggy on Athena street when a rock wagon collision near the Dudley home derailed the rig. The horse bolted through Main and Third streets until stopped opposite Dr Sharp. LaBrache escaped with minor scratches and bruises as bystanders rushed to help.
