Federal secret service agents seized a complete counterfeiting outfit in a rooming house in Pendleton. The setup included a press paper unfinished bills etching plates inks and acids. Wilfred K McFaul alias F A De Long a logger was arrested after passing bills at Salem Albany Corvallis and in Washington. He was taken into custody by Sheriff Bauman and returned to Pendleton for questioning following recent counterfeit passes at a Pendleton book store and a local hotel.

Boy Lost In Woods Found In 16 Hours
Laddie Moulton, 3, vanished in a Grants Pass area woods at dark Saturday and was found at 10:30 a.m. Sunday two miles from home and 12 miles from the city. A legion search party under Sheriff Lister, with Milton Akerill and others, located him on a knoll near a brush road after a cold night. Between 50 and 76 volunteers aided in the effort.

A flaming white hot meteor about 50 feet long and the head as large as an auto tire fell near Meacham creek south of Conway at 8 15 Sunday evening. T. F.
