Graduation exercises for the class of 1931 at Athena High School will be held in the auditorium at 8 pm on Friday May 15. Garfield residents injured in late night crash
Mrs. J. E. Freels 28 of Garfield and William Prophet of Garfield were injured when a car they rode in overturned between Pendleton and Pilot Rock. Freels sustained a broken back and serious condition. Prophet also injured but believed out of danger. James Freels had an arm injury and bruises. The accident occurred after the car skidded on loose gravel.
