Zirl I Harris traded for a horse with A. D. Reedy on September 4. The next day Frank Jordan moved the horse to the mountains and it vanished with saddle. Months later the horse, found 10 to 12 miles east of town, was corraled on February 2. The saddle and blanket were rotten but the horse’s back was sound.
