Mountain Road Work Held Up For a Year
The Blue Mountain Highway association learned from the district forester’s Portland office that no Weston Elgin road work will be done this year. The Imbler representative pushed for the Buckles route over the McDougal Camp to Tollgate plan, delaying inclusion in the year’s program. The Forest Service will study both routes next field season and push Tollgate to McDougal if possible.
