Bluestem Wheat Wins First Prize At World Fair
A. B. McEwen’s Hillsdale farm near Athena produced Bluestem wheat that won first prize at the world’s fair. McEwen notes years of high yields, with 40 bushels per acre on average and 50 bu per acre two years ago. He farms 820 acres of Bluestem this year and plans for a large crop.

Fifty Five Ballots Without President in Oregon Legislature
