Oregon State Primary Election Set For May 18

May 18 marks the Oregon state primary with presidential electors to be chosen and most county offices in Umatilla county up for nomination. County judge commissioner and treasurer holdovers exist, with nominations for two state representatives and a joint rep from Umatilla and Morrow counties, plus a circuit judge and other state offices. Voters must file declarations by April 18 and register by April 17 as voting rules shift away from on election day swearing in.

The Athena Scout troop of twenty visited Walla Walla with swimming at the Y guided by Mr Hawley Scout executive. They toured Whitman college museum Chamber of Commerce and Gardner Co equipment.
