Death of Mrs Mosley in Whittier California
Mrs T P Mosley a former Athena resident died at her Whittier California home on November 4 after a short illness following gall stone surgery. Survived by husband three sons and four daughters all present at the November 10 funeral. Sons live in Alberta daughters in Portland two at home. The Mosleys left Athena for Alberta in 1906 after years of farming then resided in California while sons ran the Alberta ranch.

Montana man and Rex Payne crash near Athena on slippery highway
