Cloud Burst Destroys Main Line Track Near Huron
A cloudburst near Allen's siding, about a mile from Huron, buried 180 fest of main line track under two to four feet of debris. The storm struck between 12 and 1 6 o'clock, lasted under 20 minutes, and dumped most dirt from a mountain ridge beside the track. County Surveyor Kimbrell reported only a light sprinkle nearby, though the southern side of the track bore the heaviest fallout.
