Pendleton Hosts Fifth Annual Knights of Pythias Meet
The fifth annual district convention of the Knights of Pythias ended in Pendleton with a splendid banquet. Knights from all county lodges and grand lodge officers attended. Pendleton beat Athena in the test of teams by a narrow margin of 60 points and the event featured addresses by Grand Chancellor M. Carl and others. The piece also notes a heroic act where Bucklen's Amica Salve aided a wounded boy, praised as a remarkable relief for burns and ulcers.
