Youth Admits Auto Thefts In Atchison Case
Andrew F. Robbins an 18 year old from Denton confessed to stealing several cars including the W B Hayes Buick and two others. He was arrested in St Joe while driving the Hayes car and admitted planning and executing the thefts before pleading guilty in city court. Robbins said he cashed worthless checks in Horton Troy and St Joe to fund his actions.

Mrs K E Vermette 52 died last night at 11 50 in St Margaret hospital Kansas City after over a year of illness. She was born Elizabeth Lingo in Town December 26 1876 and married in Concordia in 1893. Surviving are husband two daughters Estelle and Doris son Raymond a US Army officer four brothers and her mother. Funeral Monday at 2 30 from the Methodist church with Rev T D Fry. body to be moved from Lawin Douglas parlors.

Juvenile crime ring exposed thefts across cities
Four Atchison youths and a Leavenworth boy were arrested in a sprawling juvenile crime ring. They admit burglaries at Union Outfitting Co and Berkson store, plus thefts of three cars in Atchison, two in Leavenworth, and one in Kansas City. Cars recovered. North confessed after Leavenworth inquiry.

Juvenile trio pleads guilty in theft ring case
Harold North 17 El liston Bannister 16 and Albert Barnett 16 pleaded guilty in district court and were sentenced to the state re formatory at Hutchinson for up to 15 years. They are part of a juvenile gang linked to robberies at Union Outfitting Co Berkson store and multiple car thefts in three cities. A fifth youth George Miller of Leavenworth was arrested and will be tried here. James Reed 14 admitted complicity and faces juvenile court. Herbert Biddle was arrested for concealing mortgaged property and may face January 26 preliminary hearing after being held on $1 000 bond.

Grace Lewis Paroled. Parole Revoked After Raid at Main Street
Grace Lewis had her parole revoked by Judge W. A. Jackson in district court after a raid on a colored home at 711 Main Street. She pleaded guilty to jail break last fall and faces a sentence up to two years at the industrial farm for women this afternoon. Police found two white women and several colored men at the scene. Lewis was the only white woman present.
