Arch Strine, longtime Monrovia resident, died at 12 50 a m today at his home after a lingering kidney and stomach illness. Born September 22 1878 in Waldo Ohio, he moved to Monrovia in 1883 with his mother and brothers. He married Emma McLenon January 29 1908, and leaves two daughters Mrs William Sharp and Mrs Le Roy Hawk, a son Owen, his mother Mrs Sophronia Strine, a sister Mrs Harry Corbett and brother Harry, all of Monrovia. Funeral will be at the Monrovia church with details to follow.
