Community Tree Assured At Bendena Christmas Eve

The Bendena community tree fund is complete and the tree will be planted on the northeast corner of the high school lawn soon. The P T A will pay for the tree except for funds from The Globe and a city hall box, and the PTA will also run the Christmas Eve program and light the tree. The paper recounts Mrs. Johnsons troubled past and reconciliation, notes a Girl's Reserve party for Orphans Home children, and includes local notices about the Fiftieth Anniversary edition, a death in Richards, and a university educational tour request to use the Atchison park.
