Vaughan elected Lee County Treasurer in tight race
In Lee County a close election saw Frank C. Vaughan of Amboy win the County Treasurer post over Warren H. Badger by about 150 votes. Republicans held most county offices as results came in, with Miller winning Superintendent, Thompson Clerks, and Reid Sheriff. The Legislative race split with Tourtillott Abbott carrying the district for Republicans, while Smiley and Kannally finished off.
