Memorial Day Program Details With Procession and Services

A 15 member committee organized at Stevenson & Son's office to run a five to possibly six act winter entertainment course. Isaac Trask chairs. Henry Stevenson is secretary. Prof. Price treasurer. Attractions include Ariel Ladies' Quartet and Lyceum Stars. Course purchased from Chicago Lyceum Bureau. Two Lee county suicides are reported: Ernest Buchmann 73 near Amboy and Emma Wilhelm 42 near Dixon, cited ill health and mental distress respectively.

Old Soldiers and Sailors’ Reunion Committees Named
Northern Illinois Old Soldiers and Sailors Reunion will be held in Dixon on September 6 and 7. City officials and volunteers organized committees for speakers music entertainment finance badges and media, with W. A. Hunt N. A. Petrie and others in key posts. Residents anticipate a large crowd and full use of school facilities for events.

Boy Kicked by Mare Dies After Weeklong Illness
Ray Davison twelve year old son of Mr and Mrs Frank Davison near the city was kicked by a mare Monday at 7 30 pm. He suffered traumatic peritonitis and collapse, dying at 5 pm Tuesday. Funeral at Washington Grove Christian Church at 11 am today.
