State Workers Plan Set for Lee County Sunday School Meet
The fifty sixth annual Lee County Sunday School Association convention will meet May 23 and 24 at the Brethren church in Franklin Grove. State workers will attend with a full program including addresses by Miss Pearl Weaver and Mr. D H Wing, reports from county and district officers, and divisional conferences. Burial of Harris Identifies Victim After Tragic Train Crash
Harry Harkis died at Lincoln hospital on April 16 from injuries after being struck by a train on the North Western road near Ashton. He was identified only before death and buried at Lawnridge cemetery Saturday afternoon. Burial servces were conducted by Rev. Earl Zeigler of the Presbyterian church. His body had been held at Unger Undertaking rooms since death.
