Attorney William H. Wine addressed a large voter turnout at Schuchart's Opera House on Monday. Ashton may gain delegates to the county convention with two delegations in play. The first delegation was secured by a voter petition and filed with County Clerk Wm. C. Thompson. The thirteen delegates include Euclid Beach H. M. Kersten James Leidy A. IE. Hutchinson W. D. Knapp Chas Evans W. H. Light Chas Heidenthal C. K. Northrup W. J. Stevenson Geo Kersten John Morrissey and George Van Ness. A caucus at City Hall nominated Isaac Trask for county committeeman. The other thirteen delegates are Fred Wood G. W. Krug Isaac Trask Benj. Yenerich Samuel Zeller Jr Fred Richardson Henry Stephan J. D. Charters Henry Gross Robt. Knapp Jr. John Sindlinger G. N. Miller and J. B. Farrer. A nonpartisan meeting at Schuchart's aimed to discuss the new Primary Law with Attorney William H. Winn of Dixon answering questions. About 125 voters attended. rain kept many away.

Scrambled Eggs at Northwester Depot Fracas

About twenty cases were sent to the depot for shipment totaling 7,200 eggs and a number of broken eggs caused a messy scene as workers sorted through eight cases.
