Illinois Women's Missionary Convention at Reynolds
The 19th Annual Convention of the Illinois Conference Branch met June 23 to 26 at Reynolds Church drawing 39 delegates from 21 societies. Funds raised totaled 3232 for missions in Japan China and the Home Field. Leaders included Prof S J Gamertsfelder Rev J G Schwab Rev L Bucaletti and Rev Storkman. Reynolds ladies earned praise for hospitality and the convention adjourned Sunday evening to reconvene in Hooppole.

Funeral Held For Mrs. Will Gonnerman In Ashton
Mrs. Will Gonnerman died Saturday afternoon at her home near Ashton from pneumonia. She was 38 years old with two children Arthur and Katherine. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at home and at St. John's Lutheran church with Rev. Mack and Rev. Drexel assisting, interment in Ashton cemetery.
