Funeral Held Today for Mrs Haenitsch in Dixon
Ruth Cruse Haenitsch of Dixon died Tuesday morning after a months long illness of consumption. She was 20 years old, married to William Haenitsch in 1914, and leaves a 21 month old son Albert William plus two brothers Hugh and Daniel. The Lutheran church member planned to join the Methodist church here. funeral services are set for 2 and 2:30 pm at her home and the Methodist church with Rev. Fred A. Graham officiating.

Fourth Celebration Over Near Chana July Fourth Picnic
An old fashioned 1917 picnic will be held at Bluff Wing grove bought by C. E. Gardner near Chana Illinois. Ice cream fruits and soft drinks will be served at the Log Cabin by Mrs Pearl and daughter. Baseball and trap shooting will be enjoyed with family invited. The grove lies 9 miles NW of Rochelle and 24 miles SE of Chana.
