A community wedding was held yesterday afternoon at three at the home of Mr and Mrs Christian Koch in Reynolds township. Miss Anna E Koch wed Mr Ralph Ewald son of Supervisor and Mrs Charles Ewald. About 100 guests attended the blue and white decorated ceremony. The Rev F Theiss officiated. The couple will reside on the groom s father s farm after January 15.

Mrs. Geo Reiss nee Wilhemina Anthes dies December 28 1915 at Garrison Iowa aged 63 leaving husband seven children and multiple siblings. Funeral attendance from several states noted. she lived on a farm near Ashton before moving to Garrison in 1887 and is buried at Vinton Iowa.

Bert Horn, mail clerk on the Sterling passenger, barely escaped being run under the train after slipping on ice at the station. He sprained his foot, was taken to Rochelle hospital, and will return to work in a week. A Rochelle post office clerk replaced him on the train.
