Bradford Couple Married in Rockford Wedding

A Bradford Township wedding reports Miss Lillian Thomas and Mr. Turner wed at noon in Rockford with Rev. Chester Smith officiating. Attendants were Oliver Thomas and Alice Turner. The couple will reside on the Joseph Baldwin farm after a Chicago trip. Revival Meetings at United Evangelical Church Begin

The revival began last Sunday evening with strong attendance and will run for several weeks under the pastor, aided by district ministers. Rev. B. R. Schultze joins late this week and stays into next week, with Rev. John Divan of Dixon assisting later. All are invited to attend nightly except Saturday at 7 o'clock for a powerful, faith building revival.

Water Rent Past Due Notice in Village

Water rent for the past quarter is past due and must be paid at once at the village clerk office. The editor received a card from Louis Sindlinger and his wife, visiting Miami Florida for a couple months. They report fine weather and enjoying swimming and fishing among large crowds of northern visitors. The Sindlingers are staying with former townsfolk E. P. Davis and his wife.

Tunnel Work Advances Fast on Sewer Project

Rapid progress is reported on the city sewer tunnel with workers at Killiam East shaft and Paddock Avenue shaft progressing steadily. About 280 feet of tunneling achieved by last evening, with 120 feet from Paddock Avenue and 20 feet from Killian Avenue, while dynamite supply remains the main risk.

Decision Day for Christian Endeavor Week

Decision Day falls on Sunday February 4 with members urged to join or upgrade to active status in the Visions and Tasks topic. Led by Miss Laura Hobart a church party follows Friday evening from 7 30 to 10 00 with orchestra music and an invitation to bring friends for a pleasant social time.
