Tuesday evening a crowded Presbyterian Sunday School program featured a cantata by the choir. A large crowd attended the Christmas exercises and treats were distributed. At the Methodist church the house was packed with extra seats added as the Sunday School presented its program and distributed the traditional Christmas treat.
Naomi Wolford 13 dies of perforative peritonitis after a illness. Born February 10 1894 in Maryland she moved with family to Illinois five years ago settling in Ashton then Franklin Grove. Her funeral was held Monday at 9 am from the house and 10 30 at Brethren Church with Rev Cyrus Sutter officiating. Burial in Emmert Cemetery.
