New Electric Train Debuts Chicago to Los Angeles Schedule
A through Chicago to Los Angeles train starts December 17 over the Chicago Union Pacific North Western and Salt Lake routes. The 68 hour trip departs Wells Street at 6 p.m. daily and arrives Los Angeles at 12 45 p.m. on the third day. Cars are newly built from Pullman with electric lighting and modern berth lamps in sleeping rooms and drawing rooms.
