Time card changes lengthen No. 25 by 25 minutes
The North Western railway introduces a new time card effective Sunday April 16. Train No 8 from Chicago to Ashton shifts to 11:20 p m departure and about two o clock arrival. Train No 25 gains 25 minutes between Chicago and Clinton. Train No 13 Colorado Special departs Chicago 15 minutes later around 1 p m through Ashton.

Initiation at Ashton Camp Aided by Dixon Woodmen Team
A large crowd attended Ashton Camp No. 48 Modern Woodmen of America meeting Monday evening as Dixon Camp No. 56 drill team and officers initiated five candidates into Woodcraft. The Dixon team performed well and all present enjoyed the evening. A luncheon followed at the midnight hour.
