Supreme Court sessions at Napier hear sentences
At the Napier Supreme Court on September 25 Joseph Morran received a five year sentence for theft and counsel for the accused applied for leave to appeal. Goldfrich, eighteen, pleaded to three indecent assault charges and was placed on probation for three years. Epiha had his probation extended to January 1, 1909 for unpaid costs. A decree nisi was granted in the divorce case Alice Marion Walker vs George Walker for alleged misconduct. Session adjourned.

The plan proposes six destroyers seven submarines and two depot ships with Imperial crews and Commonwealth administration.
