Synod Adjourns After Eight Days Of Session
The General Synod of the Reformed Church adjourned after eight days with most time spent on reports and overtures from classes. The proposed union with another Reformed church was indefinitely postponed, likely ending the plan. Missions reports showed strong giving and interest. The Women’s Executive Committee received a 21 foot American flag from Holland Michigan. A successor for the late Rev. Dr. Mahon was chosen after twenty ballots, J R Searle of Somerville securing 120 votes. Synod will meet in Asbury Park next year.

Forfeited Bail Cases Near Supreme Court
