Postmaster Bennett Dies Suddenly at Bradley Beach
Benjamin Bennett aged 52 postmaster at Bradley Beach died suddenly Monday night at 10 90 o clock. He was found slumped in a rock ing chair at his Park Place avenue and Main Street home. He had continued to discharge duties until Monday. Death was attributed to heart disease. He leaves a widow and three children.

John K. Parker a New York liquor dealer and longtime Asbury Park resident was arrested Wednesday by County Detective Charles Strong. He faces requisition papers from Governor Roosevelt and awaits transfer to Trenton to serve a one year sentence plus fines from a 1895 conviction for illegal liquor sales in Asbury Park.

Collision on Central Road Trains Telescoped Car
A Central passenger train leaving Asbury Park at 4 P M was struck at Elizabeth station by a work train. The rear car telescoped into the baggage car, the next car wrecked, and the engine front badly damaged. Mechanics' Lien Act decision affirms worker’s wage claim
The Court of Errors and Appeals sustains John E. Naylor in a mechanics lien suit against F. O. Smith and Andrew Stevens of Plainfield. Naylor painted Brevens house under a subcontract from Smith. Smith claimed other claims would offset wages. The jury ruled for Naylor last December, and the higher court upheld that ruling.
