Bicycle Thief Captured In Shore Town Scam
Last Saturday a youth tried to sell a second hand Columbia bicycle to Ocean Grove dealer W P Ladomus. Chief J C Patterson questioned the boy, who gave the name Benjamin Moyers claiming to live in Lakewood. The officer suspected theft but released him. On Wednesday the same boy was arrested in Long Branch for stealing a bicycle from the West End hotel. His mother runs a Long Branch grocery. He named associates who have stolen wheels all summer and police hope to recover more bicycles.

Strathie Family Victims Of Hydrophobia From Puppy
Mrs Jalies Strathie died in Brent after a week of hydrophobia following exposure to a small puppy. The dog had bitten or scratched several family members, with the first victim being Mrs Strathie's son who died a month earlier. The Pasteur treatment was begun after tracing the illness to the animal. The husband, two sons and three daughters survive.
