Isaac Clements War Record and Death Notice
Isaac Clements died Sunday at his home 612 Sewall Avenue and was buried Wednesday. A Civil War veteran he was wounded early in the conflict, left paralyzed by a gunshot, and spent nine months in a hospital. The intruder is believed responsible for his death. After discharge he remained in service until war’s end. Survived by his daughter Mrs. Henry F. Lange of this city.

Congressman William D. Daly of Hoboken died in Far Rockaway at 6 a.m. Tuesday after a paralytic stroke. Born in 1851 in Jersey City, he trained as a lawyer and served in state and federal posts including U S district attorney. Funeral arrangements to be announced after arrival of the body.
