Restaurant owner fights off robber in Fremont
Frank Cardoza part owner of Stella D Oro restaurant near Bank of America in Center Square fought a knife-wielding thief as he tried to take his bag to the nearby bank at 11 25 am. Cardoza suffered multiple stab wounds but survived. police say he held onto the bag and the robber fled in a blue compact car. Washington Hospital reports Cardoza is doing well.
