Blighs logbook of mutiny voyage bought by Australia
Canberra reports Australia purchased Capt. William Blighs logbook from his mutiny voyage aboard the Bounty. The 107 page record, written in Blighs hand, covers a 3 161b mile drift from Tofau near Tonga to Timor and the Great Barrier Reef. The document, recently confirmed by administrator Reynolds Withers, will be displayed at the National Library in Canberra.
