How To Be A Person And Stay Married In Spite Of The Doctor
Psychiatrist Malcolm Sowers told Alameda Contra Costa Medical Association Auxiliary members that doctors must balance being people and spouses. He warned against putting the profession first and suggested practical routines to protect family time, such as a fixed dinner hour and delaying patient calls before dinners. He noted the third year of practice often tests marriages and urged wives to help men avoid overwork and costly coping.
