Fremont to Build Special School With Flexible Classrooms
Construction underway on a $956,000 elementary school on Lemos Lane designed for six teachers per octagonal building. Six classrooms per unit will feature movable book cabinets and pairing to support team teaching and flex schedules. When complete the first stage serves 723 students with future expansion to 200, and the site sits on a two acre lot with Mission San Jose style cement blocks and red tile roofs. About 500 students from Mission Valley and Way Out West expected to attend.
