Canadian medics and clergy view their own death differently
A May issue report by Michael A. Simpson of McMaster University analyzes 78 Canadian medical and clergy views on death from a death and dying course. It finds despite training, respondents project longer lifespans, later death, and underestimates of cancer and strokes while overestimating life expectancy. Women show more courage than men, and several forms were left undescribed or burned after data extraction.
