Newark High School reports two first place awards for its 70 member marching band and 16 member drill team at Lys Babys May Day parade. The band now has five straight firsts in a month and twenty total awards. the drill team has three firsts in a month. The band aims to appear in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena next New Year’s Day.
