Guidelines for a practical Moral Instruction document
Sacramento UPI reports the state Board of Education formed a ten member committee to draft a down to earth version of Moral Instruction guidelines. The panel, led by Rev Donn Moorean and including Dr Alex Sheriffs and Dr Gary Demarest, aims to add practical classroom guidance without replacing existing rules. The group, predominantly Protestant with one Jewish and one Black member, plans a June 21 meeting at Santa Monica High School to brief teachers.
