Father to be seeks birth procedure changes at hospital

Chuck Dawson, soon to be father, learned about hospital birth practices after his wife Cathy faced limits on parental involvement. He and Cathy visited three doctors before choosing one who would allow their input on delivery, arguing that a high birth cost should include the mother's rights to decide who is present and how the baby is born. Dawson, a human potential counselor, took leave from Jamathon Foundation to work on awareness with colleague Paulese Bell.
