Stevens wins special 160 award in Fremont competition
Lynne Stevens hails the value of practice after winning the 160 special award in the Fremont Newark Philharmonic Society Young Artists contest. Michele Miland of Palo Alto took first prize with 100 dollars, while Dally Smith also of Palo Alto won second. Stevens plans music study, local performance work, and balancing a sales job to stay connected with music.
