Veteran actor Jack Cassidy killed in hotel fire
WEST HOLLYWOOD UPI veteran actor Jack Cassidy a Broadway movie and TV star for decades died in a fourth floor Sumit building fire that trapped 100 tenants. The coroner identified the charred body by dental records a signet ring and a religious bracelet found on the remains. Cassidy had divorced wife Jones and they had three children including David Cassidy the Partridge Family star. The blaze forced evacuations and Cassidy reportedly fell asleep on a couch after a party.
