Yanks plead guilty in Russ drug case

Three American men Gerald Amster Paul Brawer and Dennis Burn pleaded guilty in a Moscow court to smuggling about two million dollars worth of heroin. They admitted acting as paid couriers but said they did not know the amount involved. They face up to ten years in prison. The men were caught June 7 at Moscow Airport with two pounds of brown sugar heroin hidden in false suitcase bottoms. They were traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Paris via Moscow aboard Aeroflot on what they believed was lax security.
