Riverside aviation field to house 1200 workmen in tented lodging
Riverside aviation school grounds employ 1200 workmen with carpenters and laborers being called. Sullivan Commissary company built a large orange tent for lodging and meals at $1.05 per day plus a cot rate. The tent includes dining room dormitory check room soda fountain barber shop and showers as the commission weighs future permit applications and possible amendments.
