Mr. and Mrs. Chas J Myers of Carthage Missouri plan to reside in Arcadia with daughter Ruth Cassil owner of The Outpost theater. Two Men Arrested After Suspect Car Theft at Hobbs Garage
City Marshal Treen stopped at Hobbs garage and found two strangers had left a car for repairs with missing license plates. The two brothers C D and C A Richardson were later arrested after paying the bill, while the younger was sent to juvenile court and the marshal held the other for ownership verification.

Oranges in California Damaged by High June Heat
A Department of Agriculture report states that very hot mid June temperatures damaged Southern California oranges. Navels and Valencias show differing conditions, navels at 71 and Valencias at 88, with navels preferred by about two thirds of production. National condition 80.9 versus 58.5 in 1917 and a ten-year average of 82.8.
