The residence of Mr. A. J. Adair in South Oxford was completely destroyed by fire at 11 30 this morning. The building and almost all its contents were consumed with few effects saved. Origin of the fire unknown. Flames had considerable headway when discovered and efforts to prevent destruction were futile. Loss estimated about 2500 dollars with no insurance.
