The charred remains of J Ed Livingst on of this city, who died in a Birmingham fire, were brought home by his brother in law W F Ritchie and J N Robinson. The body was identified by part of the face and transported to Murphy Rhody for burial. Funeral set for 10 am at Glen Addie Baptist Church with two brothers notified to attend.

In a police court case Sam Robinson sued N B Rudisill manager of the Anniston Water Supply Company for cutting off water without notice. The defendant was fined 10 dollars and costs totaling 12.10 dollars. Robinson argued three tenants shared one service with only he paying.
