Selma Alabama November 28 Clay Day a well known Bibb county resident was shot in the right thigh while hunting near Ashby. A companion in the party fired at a bird that rose from the field the load entering Day's thigh nearly tearing the leg from the body. He was moved by special train to Selma infirmary where doctors tended the wound. The injury is not at present fatal though complications could arise.
