The North Alabama Methodist conference opened at 9 this morning in the First Methodist church. Bishop Hendrix presided. Rev. J. W. Newnan was reelected secretary, with new assistant secretaries named. Committees on public worship and missions were appointed, and delegates began roll call with about 250 names.
